Nyiroro kidul

people say, Nyai Roro Kidul a Queen as beautiful as an angel, and her beauty is never aged. She lives in a beautiful underwater palace, exactly in southern seas also known Hindia Ocean.
She was once a beautiful woman namen Kadita, she was also known as Dewi Srengenge which means Sun Goddess because of her beauty. Alothough she is very beautiful she was not able to grant the king a suitable heir.
when the king married Dewi Mutiara then, he got a son. But Dewi Mutiara demands extra attentions that's when she began to demand Dewi Kadita to be
banished from the Palace and her Son become the new King. Her Son become the new King but King MundingWangi refuses to banish Dewi Kadita.
Long Story Short, Dewi Mutiara hates Dewi Kadita very much. She then hires a shaman to curse Kadita. The shaman curse her
with Skin Disease an such which makes King MundingWangi banish her for the good of the Kingdom. Kadita the leaves her father's
kingdom. After walking seven days and seven nights, she arrives at the Southern Sea. When she glances on the Sea, she heard
voices that told her to drown herself to the sea. When she touches the water, her body was restored to her beautiful old self.
Not Only That she conquers all the Sea and forms a mighty yet beautiful kingdom.
She now receive title Queen of The Southern Seas.
Some say, Panembahan Senopati once met Nyi Roro Kidul( Kadita) and make a treaty to keep his kingdom peaceful
and prosper. In exchange, every one Suro(Javanese Date) Night people of the Kraton Ngayogyakarta always
perform the Labuhan Ceremony to honour Nyi Roro Kidul and Avoid Harm. They still do this until this second.
